Medaram Sammakka Saralamma Jatara 2016 Dates and day wise information
Actually the Medaram jatara 2016 is going to be held from Feburary 17th 2016 to Feburary 20th 2016 with below details on sammakka sarakka
February 17, 2016 – Goddess Saralamma will arrive to Platform (Gadde).
February 18, 2016 – Goddess Sammakka will arrive to Platform (Gadde).
February 19, 2016 – Devotees offer naivedyam or other offerings like ‘Bangaram (bellam – jaggery).
February 20, 2016 – Last day of Sammkka Sarakka Jathara. Goddess Sammakkar and Saralamma will return back in to forest.
This is first time the Medaram jatara is being conducted after the formation of Telangana state which is carved out of andrapradesh so Telangana government has taken prestigious in providing the facilities and from the formation of telangana which ever jatara mela goverment is conducting sucessfully .This time telangana government has sanctioned and released Rs.150crore for all arrangements and facilities for convenience of public or devoties of medaram jatara 2016.The arrangements are taken under endowments minister A Indrakaran Reddy and Tribal welfare minister Ajmera Chandulal.Naik said gun shots should be fired into the air when the presiding deities were brought to the ‘gadde’ (throne). “To give due respect to the deities, the guard of honour should be given officially by government ,”
For this medaram jatara this time TSRTC(Telanagan road transport corporation) is plans for Special buses and fare charges as 50 percent more from regular charges as announced by the department of RTC of telanagana and the tickets can be reserved on www.tsrtconline.in. For the first time the government planning for online ticket booking from hyderabad and various places from india tickets can be booked from www.tsrtconline.in.
